the misadventures of bubblewrapboy, pt.1

as whatever wry fate might have it, it was found funny to have someone to infect me with chickenpox right in the start of a busy workweek. and to think i was undergoing training that bound me for 6 months or P100k. id gotten a nondescript fever just the prior weekend which i would usually ignore until i found a couple of suspicious blisters on my skin. of course i had worried just a bit but i didnt want to believe it was really chickenpox.
a quick diagnosis after, in a hospital where yani accompanied me, i was already thinking what ill be doing for 2 weeks while the stupid virus does its thing. ill have dvds and my xbox, and short jabs of work for sure, but ill miss disc and that training i was looking forward to the whole month. id be worried actually also how much scarred ill get after this stunt. and of course that infertility scare, which was real anyway, even if it was highly unlikely.
the ward left me with a P6k worth of prescriptions. add to that some 1k more of relief goods. okay virus do your thing.
